Social Media Passwords

Passwords for social media have a purpose.

It's so that somebody else can't get into your account and post something on your account.

You say, well, that's simple. But yet, a lot of people share their account information including their passwords.

What this allows is somebody to get into your account and post a fake post.

In my field, it's usually about a crime.

So instead of them getting caught, you're the one that gets investigated because you're the one with the post that says, if he would have run faster, he wouldn't have gotten shot.

It is very difficult to disprove the fact that you didn't post that, that somebody else did.

So if you have social media, immediately change your password so that nobody else has it. And that's Bret Jordan's tip of the day.
